Rush out now in a buying frenzy

About six months ago I came into an absolutely indispensible household item: a seven-year-old. You must get one.

Oh poo...I'm two years away from that model! I am finding that having a five year old is pretty nice, can't wait to see the seven year old version. :)

I used to have a couple of those! You're right about useful! Warning: you are not far from the outer limits of their "usefulness"!

I'm not able to get at that link (?)

Lucy, the 5 was good, but the 7 is fantastic.

Sue, NO! I refuse to believe it.

Lisa, it's just a really slow link.

Rebekah,

Too funny! I got mine last April! You're right, he is fabulous. I don't know how I raised children before I had one.

Yes, 7-year-olds are great, but you ain't seen nothin yet!

Remembering all those naysayers who warned we were going to be in big trouble when all those kids became teens, I f_rt in their general direction.

Don't believe them. It just gets better! The blessings multiply exponentially.

Dr H, I absolutely don't believe them, and I can't wait.

haha - you goof! I totally read that wrong - it's taken me a day to get it.

sigh.

So now's a good time to say I agree with your next post up above. Totally watching - totally oblivious ;)

I am on my 13th model of 7 yr. olds. They have all been very helpful models but you know what - so is the 12 yr. old/14yr. old/ 16 yr. old/18 yr. old clear up to the 33 yr old - each in their own way - and each with their own gifts.
Erich is right the blessings multiply. Not long and I will even get the benefit of a few 7 yr. old grandchildren models. Children are a gift from the Lord - He truly knows what He has blessed us with and His blessings continue to multiply each and everyday. Thanks for the reminder. Debbie S.

Seriously, my seven year old daughter is my "right-hand mom." (She is the oldest of five, almost six!) What great mommy training she receives every day!

The 7 year old female model is working perfectly, the 5 year old male, not so much...good thing salvation and most parenting is by grace. The 1 year old male just takes it all in. Waiting to see if 6 and 2 is more or less than 8.
