Word of the day: hangry

I'm sure you know this, but just in case.

Hangry: when you're angry because you're hungry.

Ex 1. The baby woke up just as we left the Post Office and was hangry all the way home.

Ex 2. Having found nothing but brown rice and chocolate bunnies in the pantry, I spent the morning hangry.

Hey kid, are you going to eat that?

brown rice and chocolate bunnies? Sounds like lunch and dessert to me... or breakfast. ;)

I'm with MooreMama, who can be hangry with chocolate bunnies around?

I LOVE IT. I usually end up hangry when I spend too much of baby's naptime ambivalating over whether to do laundry, take a nap, or eat lunch.

Rofl, Susan, I'm doing that RIGHT NOW! Just replace 'laundry' with 'checking email & reading blogs'.

Helpful post.
And is there a word for when you're angry because you ate way too much?
