I once thought i'd be a terrible mother, because I kill plants.
Then I learned that babies cry when they need food...call it an early warning system if you will.
So far I've managed to keep six children alive...I have but two sad plants in my house...and one was a gift when the twins were born, so it is not long for the world.

So glad I'm not alone! I lost a plant or five moving, too.
In my house, a baby doesn't need to be born for a plant to die... they will do so regardless.
Alas, my delusions of botanical grandeur wither in inverse proportion to the blossoming of children.
