laundry? what's that? oh, you must be referring to that mountain in my bedroom that has been awaiting folding for too many days to count, that load that's been sitting wet in the washer for two days, and that scattering of dirty clothes in every room of the house. yep, laundry wench.
My 13 year old gets paid fairly handsomely for doing our laundtry. However, he is a horrible employe and needs constant prodding...and now that I can get down the stairs again...I see he has inherited his mother's distaste for keeping up with it all...who can blame him?
Another thing I don't understand is why the laundry piles are so big when they insist on wearing the same outfit for a week straight until it could walk to the washer by itself (if it were so inclined).
I prefer button down shirts to pullover types. Far more flattering on this aging, kangaroo pouch mommy. Camouflages the flaws............creates ironing.....
I think all you recently delivered mothers have a clean out. Rather, wouldn't it be nice if that were so?
Karin, girlfriend, I read your blog the other day and wanted to comment you some encouragement. Then I figured my comments aren't usually all that encouraging, so I prayed for you instead. Still praying. :)

YES. Laundry is a huge mystery to me. My washing machine is a third rate sorcerer.
