That got me thinking about something I read once encouraging women in their treatment of their husband. In particular in regards to submission in front of the children. As Christians, children know the father is supposed to be the head of the household...but if mother is constantly correcting, nagging, ridiculing, or questioning father in front of the children, then their view of proper submission is not only destroyed, but even further their view of how our relationship with our God is supposed to be. If proper authority is not played out in the home, how are children to grow to respect the authority of God?
