I'm still ruminating on the litany we did Ash Wednesday.
In recent years, I have particularly appreciated this petition (and the variations thereof) for being equal parts honest, faithful, and hopeful:
To grant all women with child, and all mothers with infant children, increasing happiness in their blessings...

Yes! I always wonder what genius wrote this. Must have been some nice, tired pastor married to a Concordian Sister. :D
Pr. Cage here in Fort Wayne suggests using the Litany for family daily prayer. He has a terrific outline for praying it as a ring prayer.
Do I know what a ring prayer is? And would that outline happen to have a link available?
I really needed this today. Even though I really don't have anything to complain about, I am weepy and weary of pregnancy today - 10 days from my due date. Don't feel like doing ANYTHING except eating and sleeping, and yet there are these people that need fed......Am thinking about not going out in public anymore - so sick of people's comments.
