Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. Soo...? I mean, it kind of seems that prayer is not a law, something that is defined so strictly, but rather something that is only possible but by the prompting of the Holy Spirit, who certainly does not need our help, and is able to intercede constantly for us and on our behalf. So could not all those list of things be intertwined and married with prayer?
Prayer often involves or is driven by all of the actions on the list, but the actions on the list are not in themselves prayers, even if a Christian does them--at least, if that Christian is me. :P I know I am capable of thinking/crying/worrying about something all day without ever praying for it.
