CSPP will again be observing the ancient tradition of not posting during Holy Week. We hope you're all able to track down a contemplative moment or two.
Love your "ancient" tradition. I'll be reading "He was Crucified" by Gerard Stanley, available from CPH (and, I just noticed, on sale for $12.00 right now, down from $29.99). Written by a medical doctor, it details the physical and mental anguish Jesus endured during his ordeal. Includes beautiful works of art - pieces by the masters. (I have no children at home, so less likely that you to get interrupted when reading!)

Glory be to Jesus,
who in bitter pains
poured for me the Lifeblood
from His sacred veins.
