I think I'm off the hook for relish, but we may still have another tomato night or two coming our way. And don't think I haven't been pondering that no-cucumber relish recipe of yours all this time.
I have way more than I need of the chow-chow relish. I'll leave you a quart jar at our mutual friends (we'll see them in two weeks) and next time you're there, get it from them to try. Deal?
