It didn't make anybody cry, not even me. But I was thinking that one of these days you might enjoy a list of the completely ridiculous things that have made me cry in the last three weeks . . . .
Share, by all means. I was just reflecting that this present moment is the most emotionally stable I'm likely to be at any time in the next 5 months or so. Scary thought, that.

Hey, is that a new bouncy seat? A NEW one? What gives?
Bouncy Seat 2 bounced itself into the big nursery in the sky (note to self: don't buy bottom-of-the-line Walmart model again). Bouncy Seat 1, however, is still in commission upstairs (note to self: buy ancient bouncy seat for $2 at garage sale whenever possible). You're looking at Bouncy Seat 3, with which we're getting along ok.
I witnessed this photograph. It is true, the wee one didn't cry. I didn't feel great about the whole situation, but as an aunt it wasn't my place to interfere.
