Really?
...Well behaved women rarely make history.

Really?

Cuz I can think of a lot of really famous well behaved women. In fact, I can think of way more famous good women than bad. I call BS on the stupid assertion that bad girls are history makers. Of course we know the devil is a liar, anyway.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2566055197730422533.post-43547631290295985582012-04-26T19:45:57.147-05:002012-04-26T19:45:57.147-05:00Chicks that will live in infamyChicks that will live in infamyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2566055197730422533.post-50592985165002000992012-04-25T20:26:48.788-05:002012-04-25T20:26:48.788-05:00Anon, you must have missed Rebekah's post to m...Anon, you must have missed Rebekah's post to misunderstand my comment in such a way. I did not take offense to Melrose's comment because I'm well aware (hopeful?) that it's possible to raise a Godly heritage EVEN THOUGH I'm away from my little ones for 50-ish hours a week. That leaves me 118 hours a week to be the best mom I can be, to set the best example for my kids, and I make the most of it.

Can't do that if one is out "making history" aka being boisterous and rebellious, etc.MooreMamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04524893692649808227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2566055197730422533.post-57334841831546707142012-04-25T10:26:53.627-05:002012-04-25T10:26:53.627-05:00In response to Melrose's comment: You cannot ...In response to Melrose's comment: You cannot assume that being outside of the home precludes raising a Godly heritage. This statement might be construed as limiting God for surely He can work through my circumstances that require mother is outside of the home for some portion of the 24 hour period. I really don't construe that Melrose's comment was intended with the smugness it might portray. We're all trying to work toward the same end in raising our blessed children (even though our works are futile) whether we do that at home 24 hours a day, 16 hours a day or 8 hours a day.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2566055197730422533.post-10288741784574955542012-04-24T22:40:45.165-05:002012-04-24T22:40:45.165-05:00Ironic that they think they can "make history...Ironic that they think they can "make history" when they are outside of the home not raising a Godly heritage that will indeed be the future generation that will later become history itself. Also it is the generations that regard their mother and father as the most important pieces in their history (other than God). Some might make history books that will one day be irrelevant, but others make actual history that turns into the future and the members of eternity. haha, nothin like preachin to the choir.Melrosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08439670225934244188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2566055197730422533.post-61918048024884492202012-04-24T11:55:20.244-05:002012-04-24T11:55:20.244-05:00Oops--I should at least mention the other kind of ...Oops--I should at least mention the other kind of woman. The one who looks well to the ways of her household, whose children rise up and bless her, whose husband also praises her. She's believes charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but that a woman who fears the LORD, shall be praised. She does not ponder the path of life; Her ways are unstable, she does not know it.
