Book, recommended: the one I just wrote

Well, girls, I've been holding out on you. I've been writing a book and I didn't tell you about it. Now it's done. If you want to read it, buy it or buy it or buy it with promotion code SPACIOUS305 today and tomorrow or borrow it through the Kindle lending library. My reading committee said it was good but I stacked it with yes-men. Here is the promotional website, where you, your comments, your blog readers, and your Facebook friends who are not even remotely CSPP are welcome and will not get freaked out or ticked off. Alright, alright, Facebook too. Blech.

Just So You Know: This is not an advocacy book. It is about breastfeeding, not for or against breastfeeding. As indicated above, it makes absolutely no mention of or allusion to perpetual parturition. It deals only incidentally with Concordianism. This book cannot be used as a "witnessing tool" for any cause whatsoever. I must apologize in advance for titling it Boob Hell. But some of you already totally get it, see?

Actually, it's not about breastfeeding. It is about me, because I am my favorite topic, and I am selling it because I want some ice cream money. Or maybe I could get a bubble tea. I've always wanted one of those.

Jack Gilbert did my author pic. He has skills.

My day just went from normal to AMAZING! Signing up RIGHT NOW. (I vote for ice cream money. Because there's so many flavors!) Congrats and thanks in advance!

"Anatomical landmines of sensitivity" - LOLOLOL! Yep, nothing sucks like a shallow latch. Or doesn't suck. Or, well, whatever. :)

The author's pic reminds me of some of the best court room sketches I've ever seen. That, alone, would encourage me to purchase this book. Congrats on harnessing your authorish talents while mothering.

Wow! I just read the first chapter and I loved it! I loved the style of writing and I look forward to reading the rest of the book! I know everyone has their own unique experience, but your first chapter seemed to put words to mine! It really took me back to those days of nursing my first. I'm thankfully in the easy part of nursing our third child right now, but those early breastfeeding days are hard to forget. :)

I HATED all the books that told me "breastfeeding shouldn't hurt". Thanks for writing this!

My husband just ordered it for me :D thanks.

YAY! My Kindle and I thank you. I was a bit lost since (I confess) I finished reading the Hunger Games. Now I have something to attempt to read while nursing - you know, if Babe decides to stay latched and eat "properly".... :)

Thanks, girls. :) I'll try to provide some entertainment at the other place too.

We've never met, but I loooooove you. I had different nursing difficulties but shared so much of your tortured experience. I always enjoy your voice and will recommend hour book in other virtual venues!

yay! Congrats Rebekah!!!

Only you Rebekah, would tit le a book that.
I just ordered it for my Kindle. (I feel it will be hard for me to recommend though, no matter how much I like it, for the simple reason that I've never said that first before. I'll probably start coughing when they say to me, "Sounds great! So what's the name of it again?". Okay, I'm strange. I know. :D )

And thank you again. Leah, HA! However, that's why I tried to keep the BH blog URL safe. Speaking of the blog, you may want to visit it for info on how the geniuses at Createspace screwed up my cover and how to make it right if you ordered through them/Amazon. You will be fully compensated. SORRY, SORRY, SORRY, dearest readers.

You really should write more books. And Oprah really doesn't know what she missed ;)

I bought the book as soon as I read the post. Love it! Thanks for being open and honest about your experience. I have nursed six babies and hated every minute of it. Your book has me laughing and crying!

Many congratulations on your book, I'm very happy for you. And I'm happy that you can describe so accurately the feelings of the rest of us. For instance, now I know that it's not uncommon at all to go through nursing hell.(I'm like Leah--I've never used the B word.--You are very brave, and Very Funny.)Congrats.

You girls are funny. The B word really doesn't bother me. The H one makes me nervous.
