Banalogies

I hate it when writers write about writing. No one cares. Shut up and write. But I just have to say this one thing which may be of interest to maternal types now that I have become as qualified to do so as I ever will. (BTW--thanks for all your nicenesses and buyings and internetty goodwill. The truth is I am feeling deeply silly about all this but my husband believes strongly in monetizing hobbies.)

I don't know why this post looks weird or how to fix it.

No [one] but a blockhead ever wrote, except for money.

Regarding the look: I just figured it was some writer-y thing.

There, I fixed it. Where's my money?

I keep reading this "bananagies" and then thinking of smooth little crescent-shaped birds. Mmmmm. Birds.

It's about time you make some money off your awesome writing. I'll buy any book you write, NO PROBLEM. :D
Or, as the archdeacon says in the film version of Anthony Trollope's books, The Barchester Chronicles, "If we [the church people] don't get the money, the sinners will!" ??? :P

(I'm just wondering how you manage to get up posts so often and write a book?? My puny brain is in awe. :)

Cornish game bananagies for supper tonight.

Leah, when all you good wives are straightening and cleaning and prepping after the littles go to bed, I'm sitting here typing. My husband is terribly longsuffering. (And the book has been in the works for a looooong time.)
