Heloise I am not

so I'm seeking some helpful hints here.

Gauntlets' laundry is staging a coup and mine isn't being too cooperative either--it's looking a little shabby around the edges, more specifically, the edges that are now in their third round of being urped upon.

Anyone have a good way to treat/prevent that seemingly inevitable yellowing of little baby clothes?

Seems like some of them even came out of storage with discoloration that I don't remember from the last round.

I think a nice tea dye bath would do the trick. Brown, brown as far as the eye can see!

No? Again with the lack of vision.

Allow me to explain. Hang anything with yellow poop out on a sunny day and there won't be a trace left. I was amazed when I happened upon this discovery. All my onesies are white.

But--I've never had much of a spitter until this guy so I don't know if it works as well for that. And I know that it doesn't work for purificators like the altar guild book would have you believe.

Ha!
Well, I guess I'll have to try to catch Gauntlets' inspired vision for now...not enough sun or warm weather here for hanging laundry out yet. But on the bright side, we haven't had any new snow since Tuesday.
Maybe I'll just tie-dye everything. Oh, don't you miss the 80s?!

Our backyard has been a lake for weeks, and it keeps getting refilled regularly (at least we seem to be done with snow--yuck!). I'm saving out the stuff he's already outgrown so I can give it a sun treatment before I pack it up.

You need to use that puddle to your advantage. Strap a bundle of those yellowed whites onto your babies' legs and let them wade in the pond. They have such fun, you save both time and money on dye, and the yellow disappears like magic!

I'm really smart and you need to listen to me.

Have you tried Borax (super cheap at your regular grocery store)? Or perhaps a white vinegar soak? Make sure you post what you discover because I'm expecting number 1.

Hey liz--congrats on having one on the way :)

Haven't tried the vinegar--good thought there--but I do frequently throw some Borax into the load, which seems to help with overall whiteness/freshness but not so much with the spots. I suppose I could try soaking with Borax.

We recently discovered another application for Borax: just in case, for instance, some young person should throw up lasagna and red fruited jello all over your light colored carpet, a few good Borax scrubs will eliminate both color and odor.

Thanks! I thought of Borax as it gets out tea stains in mugs. Good luck!
